I first sand all the gear fairing parts with 320 grit. I then spray some primer (tinted gray). The result looks quite good, there are some very small problems due to some difficulties in setting up the HVLP gun. Some sanding before final paint should take care of this.

And these are the gear legs fairings. I stll have two parts left to paint tomorrow.

Almost four hours where needed to sand all the wheel fairings and the empennage fairing. All the parts were done with 180 grit, those ready for paint were then sanded with 320 grit. Some parts still had some defects but there were very few.

This is the left hand side brake line. While doing the loop on the right side, I nicked the tubing and have no more left. I will either order new tubing or install flexible lines, still to be decided.

Before priming the wheel fairings, I drill and countersink all the holes that got blocked during the filling process.

I also riveted some nutplates on the fairing support brackets.

Then I primed all the parts, still a few pinholes and light sanding to do.
I also started to refabricate some braking lines I was not happy with.
