Today I had quite a bit done, the vertical stabilizer and left elevator tips are sanded and ready to be primed. So I have five tips ready to be painted.
The upper rudder tip is ready for final sanding and the lower tip got some filler again after the problem discovered yesterday.

I begin by sanding the vertical stabilizer tip. I have some low spots that I filled, next sanding should not be very long and be the final sanding on this part.



Then I sand the left elevator and apply a layer of pure epoxy. One final sanding and the part should be finished.

Then I sand the upper tip of the rudder, some filling had to be done, so still some work ahedad on this part. On the lower tip I fond a problem with the last epoxy layer that does flakes off. So I sand it off, more work on this part next time.

Today I wanted to final sand the two tips I had already primed. But this proved more difficult than expected as the primer came off after sanding and cleaning. So I decided to sand the whole primer and to fill again the parts that needed it. The left elevator was quite a lot of work, but the vertical stabilizer having a better finish was easir to do.

Worked two hours on the tips, the status is as following : two tips primed and filled again, three tips ready to be primed and two ribs that had to be filled a bit more as there were some low spots after block sanding.
