Today I got some work done, first I cleaned and rearranged the workshop for two hours, my paintbooth is gone, i'll find another solution for the next painting session.
Then I backriveted the stiffeners to the skins. On the picture you can see the riveting tape used to hold the rivets: sticky on the green edges but not at the center over the riveheads.



The I riveted the right aileron, some tricky rivets to set alone on the upper part of the spar. I got some dings after slipping with the rivet gun, but they'll get smoothed out before paint.

Today quite a lot of progress but by small working sessions, qe have a heat wave and it's 37°C (100°F) in the workshop.
So all the parts that where ready got primed, then the right aileron parts got deburred, dimpled and primed.
All that's left is the riveting, the the workshop will be reorganised to begin working on the main wing structure.

The left aileron is ready for priming. First we dimpled the skins with Sabine, then all the parts got sanded. I finished by drilling most of the right aileron.
On the picture you can see the left aileron leading edge and the pipe used as a counterweight. The pipe gets drilled and countersunk and then acts as a female part of a dimple die to have the skins holes dimpled with the male part fixed on the C-Frame shaft.

After a few days holiday, work continues buy prepping the stiffeners for priming (still 32 in total!!)

Still deburring the left aileron parts, I got my nephew Victor's help.
