EFIS battery, MAP sensor...
|
Some more work on the EFIS battery installation. I had to fabricate a new reinforcing plate as one was interfering with the pressure sensor manifold. After the usual drilling, deburring, countersinking, and riveting these are the two parts. They are looking like swiss cheese. This is the engine side. I also bolted down the forest of tabs and the battery and engine ground cables. The backing plate on the other side. I then installed the manifold pressure sensor. It's getting the pressure information from the engine and sending it to the engine instruments. There were only two nutplates to install, but access is not very easy. This is the engine side. I still have to protect the grommet. Working time on this subpart Today : 5h (Total : 11h) |
