This is the second try to cut the foam n=block in the sccop. It worked and this time I left the cowl on the plane to do the sanding. This way the air filter box could be used as a guide.



I then laid the first layer of fiberglass. Vans method of using a balloon to maintain the fiberglass did not work as it created a scoop that did not match the airfilter box inlet shape.
Once cured I will lay a few other layers.



I also modified the gascolator so that the drain plug can be operated without removing the lower cowl.
